As we do not have a Licence you are welcome to bring your own wine.

Alternatively, our local inn, The Berkeley Arms, is within easy walking distance and serves excellent bar snacks or evening meals. However, it is advisable to book in advance to avoid disappointment and we would be happy to arrange this on your behalf. We are close to many notable Leicestershire attractions including Belvoir Castle, Rutland Water and Burghley House.

Wymondham is a conservation village and reputed to be the home of Stilton Cheese.
It is situated seven miles north of Oakham [county town of Rutland], seven miles east of
Melton Mowbray [famous for it's associations with fox hunting and pork pies]
and five miles west of the A1 [Great North Road]

It is also conveniently placed for visiting our local stately homes
(Belton House, Grimsthorpe Castle, Belvoir Castle and Burghley House),
the cities of Nottingham, Leicester and Peterborough or the leisure pursuits of Rutland Water
